Welcome to the 2011/2012 Ski Season!

  

The Mountain is open and we are preparing for a tremendous season of fun and learning in the Mighty Mite Program. Training begins for athletes enrolled in the Full-Time program begining on Dec. 3rd. Meet with coaches outside the North lodge near the "Map".

All other athletes are encouraged to ski with family and friends as much as possible during the upcoming weeks in preparation for Winter Camp, which begins Dec. 27th.

 

 

This season's race calendar has been posted:

  • Dec. 31st and Jan. 1st-WinterStart Slalom, J4's are encouraged to participate in this sanctioned Junior event.
  • *Jan. 8th-Kandahar GS at Ski Bowl, All Mighty Mites will compete.
  • *Jan. 22nd-Diamond Dual Slalom at Cooper Spur, All Mighty Mites will compete.
  • *Feb. 3rd, 4th, 5th-Oregon 4way, XC, Jump, 2-GS, 2-SL, at Ski Bowl, J6's encouraged to stay at Meadows and train. All others race.
  • Feb. 20th, Cherry Tree Charge Super-G, Interested J4's encouraged to compete. A great opportunity to experience Super-G on a less-intimidating run.
  • Feb. 26th, Kandy Cup Kombi at Meadows, 2-Kombi, All Mighty Mites Compete.
  • *March 3rd, 4th, Meadows Challenge at Meadows, 2-GS, 2-SL, All Mighty Mites Compete.
  • March 18, Championship GS, Meadows, 2-GS, All non-Buddy Werner Athletes Compete.
  • March 23rd, 24th, 25th, Buddy Werner Championships, Schwietzer Mtn. Idaho
  • April 27th, 28th, 29th, May Day Race, Mt. Bachelor, XC, Jump, SG/GS, SG/GS.

The Meadows Challenge is March 3rd and 4th. Individual Entry is required. There will be NO team entry.

  • Volunteers are needed. The Meadows Challenge IS a race that satisfies your volunteer commitment.
